Herman has a great sports program! We compete against several intermediate schools in Santa Clara County. We strongly encourage you to participate even if your experience is limited. Once you make a commitment, stick with it and give 100%.

All athletes will be awarded a certificate of participation. Medals will be given at the coaches' discretion.

Each season lasts approximately 6-8 weeks. Practice days are determined by the coach from 2:40 until 4:00 p.m.

Athletes, who miss two practices unexcused, will be dropped from the team.

All athletes must maintain a 2.0 or better GPA to participate in after-school sports. When you join your first team, your coach will give you the forms that must be filled out to participate.

Oak Grove school District "B" TEAMS

Some sports have "B" teams competing against other Oak Grove schools. "B" participants get full credit for their sports. "B" team members do not play equal time games. The final score is not important. No post-season play is done and team standings are not kept. Students in 6th grade may participate in any B team sports.

Athletes whose parents will be "driver" to away game must by law have their auto insurance on file with the school, forms available in PE locker rooms.
